  • Verifica i dati dell'inserzionista

The remains of the castle can still be admired today. In the village there are shops selling local produce, cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy and a bank. Not far inland are the gently rolling Tuscan hills covered by vineyards and olive groves, a string of medieval towns and villages, and the magnificent Etruscan city of Volterra. The area is best known for olive oil and wine (two fine wines, Sassicaia and Ornellai, are produced in Bolgheri), but there is a wide range of fine local produce. The unique microclimate (mild winters and dry, breezy summers) make the Etruscan Coast the ideal place for a holiday immersed in nature with endless opportunities for relaxation, sport, culture and fine cuisine.
